Alexandria De Jesus Gomez was born and raised in Chicago and has been leading worship in her home church of New Life Covenant since she was a child. In 2014, Alexandria was given the position of Worship Director and founded Free Worship. It was during that time that the Holy Spirit birthed within her a passion for songwriting. A firm belief in the idea that - “New rescues require new songs” - has propelled her and the team. Alex and Free Worship are amassing millions of streams, continue to record albums, host a worship podcast, and travel around the world worshiping in both English and Spanish. In 2023, she was approached by the Assemblies of God with creating a space and opportunity for worship team to be poured into and trained. Gather Together has become an impactful conference that has traveled around the country reaching and discipling local worship teams. It is her passion to help the local church continue to increase their passion for Jesus Christ through faith filled, Jesus centered worship.
